Toronto Is Hosting A Huge Scandinavian Christmas Fair This Weekend
One of the most unique Christmas events in the city is returning this weekend, following closely behind the Toronto Christmas Market in the Distillery District, which celebrated their opening day last week.
Toronto’s one and only Swedish Christmas Fair is happening in just a few days, on November 24th and 25th at the Harbourfront Centre. The fair celebrates all things Scandinavian, from food to dance and imported handmade gifts.
The Swedish Christmas Fair will be the ultimate destination to sample delicious Swedish glögg and holiday delicacies, participate in folk dancing, craft making and carol singing.
The fair will also have a massive Christmas market, complete with dozens of vendors selling gifts, decor, textiles and treats.
Admission to the fair is free for visitors of all ages. Festivities begin at around 11 AM and wind down at 5 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Event staff suggest arriving early to avoid lineups, get first pick on the best gifts and enjoy the most popular food items before they sell out. To read more about the event, click here.
