With 20 years in performance and learning, Wendy has built a career out of helping individuals, teams and businesses make measurable, meaningful, and sustainable change.
Wendy cultivated a career in learning and performance through managing, coaching, and training design and delivery. She managed teams, and later provided financial planning and tax services for business owners and managers. Wendy designed and delivered financial education for large corporate employees, college students, and financial advisors, as well as out-placement counselling, and she worked one-on-one with numerous individuals to achieve their personal and professional goals.
Wendy worked in the business services division of a not-for-profit organisation for 9 years. There she had the opportunity to support over 1000 diverse new entrepreneurs in Toronto achieving their business goals through one on one coaching and group facilitation in an inclusive, outcome-based and client-focused environment. The collaborative work encompassed concept ideation, business planning, launch, operations and growth, for a wide variety of business types and models. In support of the not-for-profit organisation Wendy also took on responsibilities in strategic direction, health, safety and wellness and continuous improvement. Wendy worked with Casa Toronto as a business coach during the start-up, launch and through its first year of operations.
Beyond her Bachelor’s Degree, Wendy is an Adler Certified Professional Coach (ACPC), and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation. Wendy has also holds her MHFA as well as ASIST and she is a Certified Personality Dimensions Trainer.
Wendy formally joined Casa Toronto in 2018. In her spare time she enjoys refinishing furniture, volunteering as a crisis counsellor, coaching new entrepreneurs, and spending time with family and friends.
